Purpose and Reason:
In general, the differences between the text of the proposed regulations and the text of the adopted regulations are due to technical corrections, clarification of language in response to comments received and for consistency with Federal requirements and guidance. In particular, changes to the enterococci criteria between the proposed and final regulations were made in accordance with more recent Federal guidance.
